“If I cannot do great things, I will do small things in great ways”
First of all, my apologies for not updating this website for a period of time. Many things happened which kept me busy for most of 2019. Summarising my 2019 in one word, it would be ‘eventfully’, and my 2nd word would be ‘tired’. This has been a year of ups and downs. Among many things that happened, I accompanied the final few weeks of a childhood friend before he passed away in April. On the other hand, I welcomed the arrival of my 1st child in Aug.
One area in which I intentionally invested a considerable amount of time in 2019, was upgrading my skillset. In 2018, I obtained 0 certifications. In 2019, I managed to achieve 4; 'vExpert 2019', 'Prosci Change Management', 'P3O' and 'VMware Certified Professional Data Center 2019' (Which I literately passed on 31 Dec 2019).
According to Chinese geomancy, apparently 2020 will be a good year for me, although I am not been someone superstitious about this kind of thing. Moving into 2020, I am going to focus mainly on BAU stuff. Maintaining and be better at what I am doing.
